I've started painting furniture! I've actually got ideas for at least three pieces in my own home but for now I'm painting distressed furniture to sell and having a blast. I love love love to go to garage sales but other than new kitchen chairs I don't really need anything. This new hobby/business gives me a reason to shop and so far it's been rewarding for me - even financially. I've got the perfect set-up with a huge unfinished basement and most of the tools I needed to get started.
The fun part is I've already sold two things and I've just wrapped up number three. Here they are...
First up - A coffee table before...
... and after. It was the perfect height for Little Miss.

It was getting dark and the flash washed out the coloring so I'll try and get new pictures if I can before it sells!
The first two items sold on Craigslist sold very quickly. Little Miss and I are out this morning looking for our next project. I'm really enjoying myself so you'll likely be hearing more about this and I may even have to solicit ideas for my business (and new blog) name. Be thinking about it!
