Block Party

This past Friday I coordinated a 1st Annual Block Party for our street (Folly Place). Since moving in over two years ago we've gotten to know our immediate neighbors but only given the friendly wave to people just up the street. When a neighbor on another street suggested the idea I was sold!

All I thought coordinating meant was making up the flyers and bringing the paper products. The weather had other ideas. Instead of a bonfire in the cul-de-sac like we'd planned the party ended up at my house becuase of rain! We had 10-12 of the 14 families I invited attend. Success!

I didn't quarantine anyone to the garage. This was our half-hearted attempt at keeping with the original outdoor plan.

It was a good thing though because all the yummy food would have never fit on that one table!
Added Bonus: Can you spot the three Thirty-One products in this picture?

Little Miss loved the bread!
