Darcy's Dream Team

This past week many of my mother's family members gathered in Roanoke, VA to participate in the Inaugural Komen Breast Cancer Walk. As a family, we have been greatly effected by Breast Cancer and are fighting hard to find a cure.

We walked in memory of my Aunt Doris and in Honor of my Mom (5.5 year survivor.) It was a time of celebration, remembrance, and unity. I already can't wait until next year. Our team of 22 raised well over 3,000. I'm not sure what the final number was but we couldn't have been happier that a portion of the funds will stay in Roanoke where my Aunt Doris received her care and many of my family members live.
