Treats

Last weekend was a special treat, not only was it the baby shower with all my friends in the Atlanta area but my cousin Judi, who lives in China, and her two children came to visit. I claim Gillian and Price as my own. I like to say I raised them since I kept them every summer while I was in college and many afternoons during the school year. Crazy that they are all grown up (13 and 10), and somehow, I didn't seem to take pictures during their visit.

They stuck around recovering from jet lag, doing some shopping, and visiting with me and the belly until Thursday. Time with them is so priceless I was really thankful to have some before Carolyn's arrival. I can't wait though for them to come back in August when she's here!

They did an amazing job with all the food, decorations, and games, especially with the added challenge of hosting at my house. It turned out to be PERFECT that I could show off the nursery to everyone and just haul all the wonderful gifts upstairs afterwards.

My mom was in town for the shower and to see Judi so she really helped me get everything in Carolyn's room in order. While it has looked ready for a while everything still had the tags and nothing had been washed. It's all clean and ready for baby girl now!
