We Made It!

We made it to full term!! I'm so proud of Carolyn (and myself) as this is quite the accomplishment that means we're likely to have a healthy little girl when the time comes. She can come out whenever she's ready but I'd prefer she wait at least one more week.

The last few months for me at work have been INSANE! And last week a lot of things all came together resulting in my working more hours than Adam. I hope that never happens again. Poor Adam didn't know what to do with himself. He was such a trooper and helped make sure we were both fed. I've spent a large part of the last six months managing the production of a new website for our company and our launch date is set for next Wednesday. The scary part is if I have Carolyn before the site goes live I'm told it will sit on hold and wait for me to come back. Yes! for job security. Boo for the thought of having that huge project waiting on my desk. So... anytime after next Wednesday will be just fine.

We've decided weekly pictures are in order from here on out since we never know when it will be the last. 37 weeks! I think a belly recap post will be coming soon.

To celebrate... I got a new bag, well, Carolyn and I got a new bag. We're going to share since I'll be carrying her supplies. Yes, this is my second Petunia Pickle Bottom bag. Yes, I know Carolyn isn't here yet. No, you can't judge me.

Here's the first bag I got a few months ago
Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Backpack - Morning in Machu Picchu

And a special treat today due to the Surprise Summer Sale (thank goodness I'm a Facebook fan and got a heads up last night)
Petunia Pickle Bottom Clutch - Corsican Blue

  1. Nothing wrong with 2 diaper bags! If I ever have a girl, I'm sure I'll end up with a few myself :) You look adorable!!!! Can't wait to see you next week :)

  3. Dear Susan/Adam:

Hope that Miss Carolyn hangs on for the full term -- those last few weeks can be miserable. You still look great!! A woman will do anything to get a new "bag" -- they are very cute!

    Love to you all,
    Aunt Mary

  4. Congratulations! Will be praying that she waits a little while so you don't have that work project hanging over your head. Will be so fun to meet her soon though!!
