Over the River ...

... and through the woods to Grandmothers house we go! This weekend was the second annual Holloman Mountain getaway. Last year we camped but with our littlest one in attendance we thought it best to go the cabin route. The view was AMAZING!
It doesn't get much better than a great view on a beautiful day. The leaves were just beginning to change. It was so neat to wake up to a new color every day.

We did some hiking around the area. There was no shortage of great views.

The house came stocked full of fun things to do. Ping pong, pool, air hockey, hot tub, and a perfect rocker for Carolyn.

Lots of smiles were shared. Be advised - Next time you see this smile it will have at least two teeth. That's right - Carolyn is getting her bottom two teeth. Am I ready? NO! Can we see them coming anyway? YES! She's also sporting her "I Love My Grandpa" t-shirt here on Grandpa's birthday.
