More Turkey Please

On Friday we have Thanksgiving round two (actually three if you count the Thanksgiving we had at church last Sunday.) The Walters immediate family gathered at our house Friday afternoon again this year for Turkey and all the fixings one more time!

It's lot's of fun having everyone over and being able to make good use of our double ovens and basement full of toys. Somehow I forgot to take pictures. Things went much like they did last year.

This is how I found Adam and Carolyn watching football when I got home from shopping Friday morning. Twinzies! Seriously - take a close look. (Edit: I fixed it so you can click the photo to enlarge now) It's almost wierd.

Speaking of shopping, I have FINISHED my Christmas shopping. Well, we still haven't drawn names with one family so I lack two gifts but other than that I'm done. What a relief! I'm so excited to finish wrapping everything up and have it under the tree. A special thanks to Amazon, Prime, UPS, and my favorite blog for helping accomplish this task.

Have I mentioned Carolyn LOVES to watch TV despite our best efforts to keep her young eyes from it? If the TV is on she finds a way to watch it. This is expectionally entertaining in restaurants where there is a TV on th wall. We've resorted lately to setting her up with her toys behind the couch if there is something we'd like to watch. Crazy kid!

  1. Your Thanksgiving spread looks delicious!! Glad you have a beautiful home to entertain in. Carolyn is really growing and YES -- carbon copy of her Dad.

    Love you,
