I think this next series should get me all caught up! On our way back from my cousins wedding the end of June we took a half-day detour to the Virginia Safari Park! I'd seen pictures from other families trips and have always wanted to go. This post will focus on the passengers. Wednesday I'll highlight some of the "wild" animals!
A little background.... this is very zoo like except different. Hah! You drive your car for about an hour through this wooded land and can feed all the animals. We opted out of buying any food but that didn't keep the hungry fellows from checking us out!

In the back seat Little Miss rode with Grandma and Grandpa! Before anyone freaks out we went at a max of about 3 miles per hour. Little Miss was on her car seat (it was upside down). |

Little Miss just LOVED getting to see out the window and snuggle with Grandma. |

Poppy (My Aunt Peggy) rode in the front with me! She was a lively one when the animals started sticking their noses in her window! :-) |

Little Miss seriously had the time of her life! |
