Anyone who knows me well knows that I love a bargain and I'm not afraid to haggle. I should do a post one day on negotiating the price of my wedding dress. It was a steal! So, today JenCrews Davis and I went shopping. I saw a lamp last weekend and kept thinking all week about how great it would look in our Family Room. We went by to see if they still had it and it turned out to be on clearance for $35 (I was thinking it was $50.) It's important to note that the original price was $70. It was the LAST one. I'm not to good for a floor sample so were talked the guy into selling it to us and he took $10 off the price. SCORE!! Excellent lamp for just $25. Turned out it was missing the little nob that turns the light on and off but I borrowed one from an old lamp in our basement and it's up and running like a champ.
The perfect addition to my new console table and picture.

For perspective.

A special shout out to everyone who attended our first Game Night in January and Ross for setting me up to take black and white pics.

Having the love for shopping that I do has only made the anticipation of the newest Walters that much more exciting. Adam and I checked out some baby furniture this weekend. We found some things we really loved and can't wait to get started on decorating the nursery. More to come on that and updated Living Room pics soon.
Susan: I believe you may have learned a few wheeler dealer tricks from your Aunt - HA! You did great - the lamp is nice!! Keep at it -- they will always reduce the price - if you ASK!! Most people don't. Enjoyed the photos - family room looks very pretty and comfy.
