Snow Day!

Welcome to my Winter Wonderland! Our furry friends haven't skipped a beat. I had noticed their fur was really thickening up - good thing.

Courtesy of new Christmas zoom lense, meet one of the million squirrels that live in our back yard. This one was having a late afternoon snack with me. I choose banana instead of acorn, to each its own.

From the bathroom window!

Going outside at about 16 degrees (wind chill 1 degree) for this picture was a horrible idea. All the clothes in the world couldn't have kept the cold from this Georgia girls bones.

  1. Loved the snow pictures. Glad you enjoy the animals. They are fun to watch. Can't see any sign of my fish in the pond right now. The ice is too thick. Hopefully, all 47 of them are huddled together to survive.

  2. Loved your "snow" photos -- glad my niece finally gets to enjoy some after her Aunt Mary picking on her all those years when she was small -- sorry!!! Your home looks beautiful in the snow also. It is about 17 degrees now - Wil just called and invited me to eat dinner with them - thank goodness - it's close by - a couple minutes.

  3. The pictures are great! The zoom lens really makes a difference! I think anyone would be freezing in Atlanta tonight. Just saw on news where it was going to be 6 degrees there tonight. We're also freezing here. Makes you just want to stay in and pray the heat pump keeps working:) Thanks for going out in the cold to get the picture of your home. It looks beautiful!!!! It was this time of year when you were 3 that Mom and I brought Jef home from Roanoke and brought you a cooler full of snow! You and your friends had a great time having a snowball fight at 9:30 at night:) Fun memories!! Love, Aunt Peggy
