1 Month Old

Carolyn began celebrating her 1st month of life at about 5:30am. Little did Mommy know when she got up to feed her that she was soon to be faced with her biggest challenge of motherhood yet. Explosive poop. And by explosive poop I mean the kind that shoots 3 feet across the room when Carolyn sneezes during a diaper change. I won't bore you with all the details but the trauma kept me awake the rest of the night.

Look at me, I'm a big girl now!

Same bear, same outfit, same yawn, one month later...

As a refresher - below is the first picture. She's growing into her outfit slowly but surely and might actually have one less chin.

Weighing in at a whopping 7lbs 13.8ounces. So much for that new scale mommy bought that made her think we were over 8lbs last week. Someone must have been wearing a very heavy diaper that day. If it hadn't been for our diaper debacle earlier today we likely would have hit the 8lb mark.

Not the biggest fan of being stretched but proud to report we've grown from 18" to 19 3/4".

Good things come to those who are brave- pink heart band aids.
