9 Months

Three quarters of a year has certainly flown by at our house. With each new milestone Little Miss does not disappoint. Yesterday we had her check-up. She weighs 13lbs 12oz and is 25 1/4 inches tall. I was thrilled with this weight gain until we met with the doctor and saw she's getting farther and father from "the chart". Hmpff

She's a bundle of joy and energy for sure though! Here's some of the latest milestones and favorites:

1. She's babbling much more now and seems to carry on conversations with her toys or herself in the mirror.
2. She loves to help me clap my hands and gives the occasional high five.
3. The bangs things together, especially plastic Easter eggs.
4. She can roll when she wants to but is quite content to just lay on the floor and play with whatever she can reach or her own feet.
5. Peek-a-boo is a favorite and if she gets a hold of the burp cloth while she's eating we have to take a peek-a-boo break.
6. Everything still goes in her mouth and she can feed herself cheerios, black beans, and chunks of sweet potato.
7. She's sleeping 11-12 hours at night and taking two naps.
8. She drinks 4 bottles (7-8oz) and we are working on getting her to eat more solids.
