What a Deal

Everyone loves a good deal but I LOVE a good deal. If I had to list the top ten things that get me out of bed every day finding a good deal would be somewhere on that list. There has always been coupons and end of season sales. In the last few years the Internet and Amazon took deal catching to a whole new level. Most recently I've discovered deal blogs. These are bloggers who just post deals for all the see so that we don't have to do all the searching. My very favorite, and the one responsible for most of our good finds around Christmas is Want Not. Mir over at Want Not is so so pretty that she posted a deal a few weeks ago about school supplies.

Just this week my purchases were delivered. That's right - SEVEN different types of glue. Little Miss and I have many crafts in our future between all the glue, fabric markers, regular markers, tape, staples, printable note cards... I think you get the picture. As I type this I realize I must still be getting one more box because the safety scissors are not pictured.

So what did all this cost me? Retail is approximately $64 according to the site I purchased from.

I paid a whopping $1.64 (no tax and free shipping)

Did I have to place 5 separate orders to get it? YES

Did the bank call because they thought my card was stolen? YES

Do I feel like a hero and have enough adrenaline off this one deal to last me weeks? YES

One day I'll post all my tips for buying diapers and formula for cheap as well! When the deals are this good you have to act quick before they are sold out or taken down.
