Antique Wallpaper

I'm not against wallpaper and I've been thrilled to hear the neighbors share that the previous owners loved their grass cloth wallpaper circa 1983 (yea, that is the same year I was born!). So, while there is not much I wish to change about our new house the first to go was definitely the wallpaper.

Before

You can barely see it here but trust me, it's hideous. When we removed that picture on the left wall you could see the marks where other pictures had hung for so many years and the paper around became discolored. I also fondly refer to this floor as our dance floor

DuringThankfully, Joe the Painter and team were not intimidated by our high ceilings and stair case. This was quite the project and I still can't believe they got it done in 2 days!

AfterHello Behr Quiet Verandah.... perfect! Now, about that dance floor, I think I need a BIG rug.
