Babymoon

Last week I tagged along with Adam to a conference in Miami. This happens to be my favorite conference of the year as last February it took us to Phoenix. It didn't take long for me to warm up to the idea of two days consisting of a massage and book reading by the pool. We stayed at the Doral Resort, home of the Blue Monster for all you golf fans. The weather was nice other than an outrageous wind that stuck with us through the whole trip. Thursday night we had a yummy dinner in South Beach and dessert at the Ghirardelli! Carolyn loved it! And by Carolyn I mean me. :-)

Afterwards we we took a 3 day cruise to the Bahamas. The cruise took us to two stops, Coco Cay (their private island) and Nassua. In Coco Cay we laid on the beach and got some much needed sun. Nassau was extra windy so we just walked around and spent the afternoon on the boat. All in all the trip was a complete success and met all of our desires - good food and lots of rest and relaxation! Much to Adam's relief we were not plagued by an widespread illness or attacked by pirates.

Leaving Miami at sunset...

Beach day at Coco Cay

Did I mention it was windy? Also, should I not meet my daily calorie intake Carolyn's reserves can be found in my chin.

Our trip was the perfect transition into the second half of pregnancy. That's right, 20 weeks - here we are! Thank you cruise food for helping me visibly achieve this milestone.

  5. My favorite part of being pregnant was eating all I wanted and not thinking about a fat belly. Enjoy yourself. You look great. Love, Aunt Lorraine

  6. Glad for the lack of widespread illness plague. No matter how old kids get, parents are always concerned when y'all make trips to places that sometimes cause illnesses (along with safety, etc...). Love y'all, Murray.
